ONWA Marine Electronics typically warrants its Products to be free of defects caused by faulty material or poor workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase by the original owner through an authorised Onwa retailer.

This warranty may not be varied or adjusted in any way without the prior written consent of Onwa Marine Electronics Ltd.

However, the applicable warranty does not have the effect of excluding or limiting the purchaser’s statutory rights or consumer guarantees that may exist under local regulations and/or national legislation.

Onwa Marine Electronics suggests that purchasers check with their local Onwa factory authorised dealer regarding the warranty terms and conditions applicable to their home country.

The warranty does not apply to defects caused by the following for which neither ONWA Marine Electronics nor its authorised dealers can be held responsible. Accordingly, any expenses incurred or associated with such circumstances will not be borne by either Onwa or its authorised dealer.
a) Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage.
b) Improper transport and storage.
c) Missing, altered or indistinguishable serial number.
d) Force majeure event or other such circumstances.
e) Misuse or physical damage.
f) Improper installation.
g) Improper maintenance.
h) Unstable vessel power supply.
i) Repair, modification or alteration by un-authorised person.
The Onwa warranty only applies to the original owner, purchased through a factory authorised dealer, and specifically excludes on-line auction purchases.

It is highly recommended to purchase from local authorised dealers to ensure warranty validity and avoid possible operational restrictions on international units. Such as language or units of measurement (UoM).

For products purchased directly via online resellers prospective buyers should always check directly with the seller to understand the precise warranty cover, claim process, and any additional transportation costs involved.

To avoid any confusion or delays during the unlikely event of a warranty claim, Onwa strongly recommends that end users register their product on Onwa’s web-based registration portalClick here】.

If a proof of purchase invoice is unavailable, Onwa will deem the warranty period to begin on the date of original factory shipment, continuing for 18 months from that date.
